Private jet arrival at Rotterdam The Hague Airport: how the chauffeur handover works
At Jet Aviation (Jet Center) at Rotterdam The Hague Airport, the private aviation terminal operated by Jet Aviation and formerly the KLM Jet Center, the handover is simple: your chauffeur follows the flight time, gives the terminal staff your name and waits for you in the reception of the terminal. Free waiting is 45 minutes from the actual landing time. From there the chauffeur drives you on, or stays with you by the hour.
This guide explains each step, what to send us beforehand, and how the same approach works at other private aviation terminals in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. It is written for passengers, PAs, family offices and flight departments.
Before the flight: what to send us
The more we know, the smoother the arrival. A short message by WhatsApp or email is enough, with:
- The planned arrival time at Jet Center Rotterdam, and any change as soon as you know it
- The name of the lead passenger, for the chauffeur and the terminal staff
- The number of passengers and pieces of luggage, including golf bags or other large items
- The onward address, or the plan for the day if you want a standby chauffeur
- Who receives the confirmation and the invoice, if someone books on the passenger’s behalf
On arrival: the handover in the terminal
Your chauffeur follows the flight time, so an earlier or later arrival is no problem. On arrival the chauffeur gives the terminal staff your name and waits in the reception of the terminal, ready when you come through. There is no looking for a car park or a pickup zone: you walk out of the terminal with your chauffeur, and the luggage goes into the car.
You receive the chauffeur’s details before the ride: the name, the car and the plate. The passenger and whoever arranged the trip know exactly whom to expect.
Waiting time and slot changes
Free waiting at Jet Center Rotterdam is 45 minutes from the actual landing time, the same as at the main terminal of Rotterdam The Hague Airport. After that, extra waiting is €60 per hour, charged per started 15 minutes.
Private flights change. A slot moves, a meeting runs over, a departure is brought forward. Call or WhatsApp us when it happens, 24/7, and we adjust. If the timing is likely to stay uncertain all day, a standby chauffeur by the hour is usually the calmer choice.
Standby by the hour
For a same-day return flight, a series of meetings or a lunch in the city, keep the car and chauffeur with you. The chauffeur waits between appointments and drives you back to the Jet Center for the departure.
From €85 per hour for a business sedan, minimum 2 hours. 30 km per booked hour included. Extra km: €1.75 per km for business sedans and the EQS, €2.25 for the S-Class and vans.
Hourly rates: €85 for a business sedan, €95 for the EQS, €120 for the S-Class and €99 for the V-Class.

- The Hague
- Amsterdam, and Schiphol for an onward scheduled flight
- Antwerp and Brussels
Late and early movements
Business aviation does not keep office hours, and neither do we: bookings are taken 24/7 by phone and WhatsApp. Online booking needs some notice; the form shows the earliest pickup it can accept, and anything sooner is arranged by phone.
Night pickups between 00:00 and 05:59 carry a supplement of €20 for business sedans and the EQS, and €25 for the S-Class and vans.
Choosing the car
Business sedans such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the electric Mercedes EQS, the S-Class, and the V-Class for groups, or equivalent, subject to availability. Travelling with a larger party or a lot of luggage? The V-Class takes up to 7 passengers and the V-Class XL up to 8.
Other private aviation terminals
Jet Center Rotterdam is our home base. We also serve private jet centres and general aviation terminals elsewhere in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, with the same meeting in the terminal reception: the chauffeur informs the staff and waits there for you.
Arriving on a scheduled flight at Rotterdam The Hague Airport instead? Then the chauffeur waits with a name sign in the single arrivals hall, right where passengers come out of the baggage claim.

Discretion
Passenger names, schedules and conversations stay between you, us and your chauffeur. We share booking details only with the chauffeur who drives the ride. Bookings made by a PA or an operator work the same way as other bookings for someone else: the booker receives the confirmation and the invoice, and the chauffeur contacts the passenger on the day.
