Chauffeur service for healthcare and medical visitors
Rotterdam has a large medical and academic community around the Erasmus area, and it attracts visiting specialists, guest lecturers and congress speakers from abroad. We provide their ground transport: airport, hotel, hospital or venue, and back.
Not medical or emergency transport
MAAS Executive is a chauffeur service, not an ambulance or medical transport provider. There is no medical care or medical assistance on board. Every passenger travels as an ordinary passenger and needs to be able to make the ride without care, supervision or medical equipment; if that is needed, book a medical transport provider.
Our cars are not wheelchair-accessible. A folding wheelchair fits in the boot if the passenger can move into the car seat on their own.
Clinical-trial participants and companions
Trial sponsors, CROs and travel concierges book ordinary transport for study participants and the person travelling with them: from the airport or a home address to the study site or the hotel, and back.
The sponsor or concierge books under its own study reference. For approved business accounts the invoice goes to the company; other bookings are paid online when booking. This is ordinary passenger transport, not medical transport.

Visiting specialists and speakers
A specialist flying in for a day of consultations or an operation, a keynote speaker for a medical congress: the organiser books, the guest is met with a name sign and driven to the hotel or straight to the hospital entrance.
Arriving at Rotterdam The Hague Airport, a short drive from the city centre? Free waiting there is 45 minutes from landing.

Visiting family members
Relatives travelling from abroad to visit someone in hospital often arrive tired and unfamiliar with the city. As ordinary ground transport, we can collect them from the airport or station and take them to their hotel or to the hospital’s main entrance.

Free waiting: 60 minutes at Schiphol and other airports, 45 minutes at Rotterdam The Hague Airport, counted from the actual landing time, and 15 minutes at other pickups.

Frequently asked questions
Can you drive a trial participant or a patient to an appointment?
Yes, as ordinary passenger transport, for example a clinical-trial participant and a companion booked by the sponsor. This is not medical transport. If a passenger needs mobility assistance, please contact us before booking.
Can a hospital or congress organiser book for a visiting specialist?
Yes. Book for someone else: the specialist is the passenger, and the organiser receives the confirmation and the invoice with its reference.
Can you take visitors to the main entrance of a hospital?
Yes, to the main entrance or the address you give, like any other destination.
